We built the platform we wished existed.

KF Books started with a simple frustration: narrative and intellectual works deserving a global audience were dying in the language they were written in — with no clear path forward, and no one in the author's corner.

Good writing was hitting a wall.

Self-publishing platforms made it easy to put a book on Amazon. What they couldn't do was anything that happened next.

There was no way to reach readers in other languages — not without navigating a labyrinth of agents, foreign publishers, and contracts written entirely in someone else's favour. A novel written in Ukrainian, Polish, or Portuguese would either stay in that language forever, or arrive on an English-language storefront and stop there. The idea that the same work could live in six or seven languages, finding the readers it deserved in each of them, was practically out of reach for an independent author.

And the readers who did find the work? They disappeared. No connection, no feedback, no way to know what resonated or why. A sale was a transaction and nothing more.

We wanted something different. So we built it.

Your work belongs to the world. And to you.

We believe a narrative work published in one language is unfinished. Every story has readers it hasn't met yet — in markets the author could never reach alone, in languages the author may never speak. The infrastructure to get there shouldn't require a literary agent, a publisher advance, or years of waiting.

We also believe authors should hear from their readers. Not through noisy review platforms where anyone can post anything. Through direct, anonymous, structured feedback — the kind that tells you whether the pacing worked, whether the characters landed, whether the ending left people satisfied or wanting more. That signal is valuable. Authors deserve to hear their readers — from day one, in every market.

And we believe your rights should always, ultimately, belong to you.

A publishing partner.
Not a gatekeeper.

When you publish with KF Books, we take on the work of global rights management — actively sub-licensing your work into foreign-language markets through our network of Tier A and Tier B publishing partners.

English is often the starting point. From there, we pursue the languages where the opportunity exists: German, French, Polish, Spanish, Japanese, Ukrainian, and others as the market develops.

Global Feedback Engine

Every edition we produce carries anonymous reader feedback QR codes. Survey responses flow directly into your author dashboard in real time. You see how readers across all markets respond to your work, not just the market you started in. This is what we mean by where authors hear readers — not as a slogan, but as infrastructure.

Escalating Growth

Your royalty rate escalates as your work sells. You start at 22% of Net Receipts and rise to 44% as cumulative copies climb across all editions and languages. The more successful your work becomes, the larger the share you take home.

The Trust Guarantee

We ask authors to trust us with their Economic Rights. We take that seriously.

The 6-Month Reversion Assurance

If we have not published your work in any format within six months of your Work Agreement's effective date, you can request your rights back by written notice. From that moment, we have ninety days to publish. If we don't, all rights revert to you — automatically, contractually, unconditionally.

No penalties, no conditions, no negotiation required.

This is not small print. It is the foundation of how we work with authors. Our Master Agreement is published openly as a public offer — you can read every clause before you commit to anything.

We also offer two levels of anonymity: publish under a pen name with us knowing your identity, or choose Full Anonymity where we structurally cannot disclose who you are — because we do not hold that information at all.
